The No. 1 prep player in John Wall has made his decision in attending the University of Kentucky in thye fall. John Calipari not only wrapped up the #1 prospect in the class of 2009 but it's safe to say that he has the #1 recruiting class. Wall considered a lock for Memphis back in april but with the departure of Calipari to Kentucky Wall reopened his recruitment and began to look elsewhere. Wall is considered a one done player but in that one year Kentucky has a chance to make a run at the national championship. Wall joins Eric Bledsoe, Darnell Dodson, Daniel Orton, Jon Hood and Demarcus Cousins. Wall chose Kentucky over Duke, Florida and Miami. Wall, Cousins and Bledsoe are not cleared to play as of yet by the NCCAA the prospects are waiting for SAT scores to come in. Many thought he would skip college and go to the NBA. Wall is 19 and in his 5th year of high school which to NBA standards makes him eligible. Because Calipari has a good history with guards in the past couple years helped Wall make his decison. With Patrick Patterson who recently withdrew his name from the NBA draft and Calipari is hoping the teams leading scorer Jodie Meeks does the same. If Meeks comes back Kentucky can automatically punch their ticket to the big dance next year. Kentucky has a deep and talented team. Look for the battles between Louisville and Kentucky to be a good one for years to come. Calipari and Pitino already have a rivalry and this just adds fuel to the fire in the debate of who the best coach is in the land of kentucky. Let us not forget Pitino once coached Kentucky. Tune in folks this is going to be a good one
